The fear of what others think of us can lead us to some pretty poor decisions. The Scriptures shed great light on this problem and why we should guard against it.

Our heart to know God's Word has great impact on what we actually get out of God's Word. Jesus instructs us to "take Heed" how we listen!

Jesus is not looking for us to become "tidy" people; what He is looking for is "transformed" people who show His work in us from the inside out! Religion seeks to look good to men; Jesus desires for us to be authentic.

It is through the humility of the heart that we come to truly know the Father. All of our wisdom, knowledge, and strength must be filtered through the heart if it is going to bear fruit in our lives.

Jesus said, "whoever touches you touches the apple of my eye." As Christ followers, we are identified with Jesus and share an unalterable union with Him. So much so that no matter what comes our way, we can be certain of His present care and protection in our lives.

The miraculous power of Jesus to forgive sins and to heal sicknesses were absolutely astounding, but another power of Jesus on display was His power to know our thoughts. In this knowing of Jesus we find both accountability and comfort in knowing that we are always known by Him. Never alone, but always in His thoughts!

Sometimes we just give up on people too easily when they first reject our witness of Christ. Jesus did not do that. He showed patience and through intentional actions displayed His longsuffering to them.

Jesus teaches us that it is the few, not the many that we should take our ques from in life. It is not what is around us that should set the sail of our lives, but that which is within, our personal walk with the Father in His Word!

It is an amazing confidence we can have in approaching God with our needs and cares knowing that He is the God who sees and knows us intimately!

The benevolent love that God as Creator demonstrates to all His creation, the good and the bad, is instructive and inspiring to everyone who seeks to genuinely please God in our walk with Jesus Christ.
